Vaccinations

Vaccines are safe, effective, and reduce your risk of severe illness.

Our mission is to administer safe and convenient COVID-19 vaccinations to communities in Colorado.

Currently, we provide the Moderna Vaccine.

 

ALL Vaccines Are:

  • Administered by a shot in the upper arm

  • Do NOT contain: eggs, preservatives, or latex

Moderna Vaccine

  • Who can get it: Those over 18

  • How many shots: Two shots, four weeks (28 days) apart

  • Fully vaccinated: Two weeks after the second shot

  • Effectiveness: 94.1% effective at preventing laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 illness in people who received two doses who had no evidence of being previously infected.

  • Type of vaccine: mRNA

Appointment

  • Anyone over 18 may book an appointment to get the vaccine.

  • We ONLY offer the Moderna vaccine

  • You must schedule your vaccine appointment through Test Directly by clicking on the ‘Book Vaccine’ button

  • You will only be able to schedule your first shot online. Your second shot will be scheduled once you arrive on site for your first dose of the vaccine.

    • Please bring your vaccination card with you, when you come to the appointment for your second shot. 

  • If you received your first dose of the Moderna vaccine somewhere else, you may come get your second dose of the vaccine with us. 

    • This can be scheduled through our website through the same process as booking a first dose appointment. You must bring with you the proof of your first vaccination to your appointment.

 

Vaccines are safe, effective, and reduce your risk of severe illness.

 

Common Side Effects Include:

pain, redness, and swelling in your arm where you got the shot. In the rest of your body you may experience tiredness, headache, muscle pain, chills, fever, nausea.

 

Possible Allergens

  • If you have had a severe allergic reaction or an immediate allergic reaction, even if it was not severe:

    • To any ingredient in the Moderna vaccine, you should NOT get a Moderna vaccine.

    • After getting the first dose of the vaccine, you should NOT get a second dose of the Moderna vaccine.

  • An allergic reaction is considered severe when a person needs to be treated with epinephrine or EpiPen© or if they must go to the hospital.

  • An immediate allergic reaction means a reaction within 4 hours of getting vaccinated, including symptoms such as hives, swelling, or wheezing (respiratory distress).

  • If you aren’t able to get an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine (Moderna), you may still be able to get a different type of COVID-19 vaccine. Learn more information for people with allergies.

Cost Of Vaccine

  • The vaccine is available and FREE for all adults over 18, regardless of whether or not you have insurance. 

  • If you do have insurance, you will be asked to provide that information.

  • Your insurance will be charged only for a vaccine administration fee.

  • There is no out of pocket cost for patients.

 
 

Reporting of Vaccinations

  • All vaccinations will be automatically reported by us, the provider, to CIIS (Colorado Immunization Information System)

CDC V-Safe Program

  • V-Safe is a program run by the CDC, which you can opt-into to receive personalized health check-ins and report side effects.

  • You can sign up with your smartphone’s browser at vsafe.cdc.gov
